- The Great ShakeOut International Earthquake Drill was on Thursday, 17 October but it’s never too late to do an earthquake drill.
This initiative includes three quick and easy actions, Drop, Cover and Hold On!
Did you know?
- Western Australia has over half of Australia’s earthquakes, averaging 1 a day? With the potential for a 7.6 magnitude quake, it makes sense to be prepared.
This could be an opportunity to get your Year 8 students to show the rest of the school how easy an emergency drill can be. It’s as simple as Drop, Cover and Hold!
